Yesterday was not a good day. Not good at all. This Mom gig is hard. Most days I love my family and enjoy them. Yesterday I wanted to be as far from my people as I could be... but that's hard to do when you are all at home together. The bickering with each other. The talking back. The talking under their breath when I give directions. Aaaagghhh!
This morning I busted out the summer rules chart. We just don't do well when we get free reign on the TV, PS-4, etc. This morning the kids had to do some chores, read, etc before they could be on screens. It also helped that we had piano lessons and met friends at the park.

The fresh air and sunshine did us all some good.
