Happy Birthday Clay!

We had great weather for Clay's birthday/Memorial Day. We went downtown to the park and played in the fountains, took a scenic drive (Clay showed us some of the Ironman bike course), grilled out and swam with our friends, and then came home and had some chocolate birthday cake for a bedtime snack.

This afternoon Clay and I got some yard work done before we all headed out for dinner and a Bats game.

Tonight we all went to Art Sparks after dinner and then to McD's for ice cream.

Elliott is 9 months old today! He is getting ready to cut his 3rd tooth, rolls from belly to back (but only from his back to belly once), crawls, pulls up, can go from crawling into a sitting position, and is drinking from a straw. He is the most laid back baby of our three and is a delight!

After story time, we went to the park and played in the water with friends.

This is Ali Austin. The girls named him (can you tell?). Clay brought him home from work to show the kids. It needs to return before they get attached!

Last night we hung out with our friends Chris and Michelle. We hadn't seen them for over a year. It's nice to have friends that you only see every so often and can start right back up where you left off. Chris, Clay, and I all lived in the same dorm at UK.

These would all be pictures that Julia took with my camera, right before she dropped it and it broke!!! Unfortunately it was a new (to me) camera and it's my 4th camera casualty in about 5 years. It may be hard to talk Clay into another one!

Yesterday we went to the zoo with Mamaw. It was very crowded and very hot, but we had fun!

After church yesterday, our Sunday School class delivered some goodies to police and firemen to say "thank you" for the service they provide to the community. The kids had fun checking out the fire truck.

May 23

Yesterday afternoon/evening the kids and I took advantage of the 80+ degree weather. Clay rode his bike 51 miles and then ran a few miles after that. A little over 3 months until the Ironman!
