Lucy's Pre-K class learned about foam and fizz today. They had alot of fun playing with shaving cream.

 We watched "Annie" a couple of days ago. Lucy had fun wearing Kat's old Annie costume and singing... and singing... really, the girl doesn't stop making noise!

November 29

The kids enjoy camping out around the Christmas tree every year. Lucy was old enough to join the big kids this year. My baby is growing up! If you look closely, you can see that Gus enjoys this tradition too.

 We drove 300+ miles home, unloaded, unpacked, did laundry, and put up the Christmas decorations.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We arrived in IL last night and spent some time with Grandpa Tim and Lulu.

 The whole crew came over for Thanksgiving.

We hung out with Mamaw and Bapaw, and Mamaw and Papaw C last night for a little while.

 Tracy and I saw the musical "Wicked" last night. It was awesome! Love me some Tracy.

November 21

 

 

Kat had two games this morning and won both games. The second team beat them 22-4 last week, but this week Kat's team beat them 14-11. I think it's the first game the other team has lost. Kat's team was pretty excited. It is alot of fun to watch her play.

November 20

 

Clay took Julia and Kat to chess after Kat's basketball practice yesterday. I took Elliott, Hulk, Lucy, and Abbie to story time at a the library. The theme was "Play Literacy: Grocery Store". The kids had fun shopping, making out lists, and playing cashier.

November 19

Kat went on a field trip with the 3rd and 4th graders from co-op to the Thomas Edison House and also to a glass-blowing place. While she was on the field trip with her friend Clara, Clara's younger brother Eliot came to our house. We grabbed Abbie and headed to the zoo for a sunny 55 degree day. We practically had the place to ourselves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

November 18

 "Wee-ha! I a cowgirl!" 

 Elliott and I got to have lunch with Hulk at school today. Thanks Bapaw for keeping the girls. Elliott was excited to eat school food. Ha!

November 17

The boys had basketball evaluations last night for Upwards basketball. We love this program. Thankfully their practices don't start for a few weeks, which gives Kat's season time to finish. I am pretty sure I cannot juggle another thing right now. 

Tonight all seven of us will be at home with nothing to do! That hasn't happened in a long time. It's a yucky rainy day, so we are going to stay inside and have a movie night. I am looking forward to it!
