Julia stayed home from school yesterday because she has pinkeye. She also lost her first tooth! And I helped her pull it (that is something I never thought I'd do!). I'd rather deal with vomit or poo than a wiggly tooth. But after 2 weeks of her wiggling that thing around, I had had enough and tied some string to her tooth. She even took a nap with the string still tied to her tooth. When it was time to go to the store, I told her we'd either have to try and get the string off her tooth (it was tied tightly) or just pull the tooth out. We had a small power struggle and the tooth came out quickly. She said it didn't hurt, which is good because the tooth next to it will likely be out before Christmas!

Elliott was excited to see Maddy again.
We had Thanksgiving with my Dad's side of the family. Nonna came too, so it was nice not having to split time between two houses. I love that my family can all be together! Nonna took Kat home with her Thursday night to have some 1x1 time. She took her to see a movie. Lulu took Julia to see a movie too. They all had fun.
Friday morning I took Elliott to Prompt Care. He had an ear infection, poor little guy!

Saturday night was Julia's turn to have 1x1 time with Nonna. Nonna let her apply her own makeup and then took her out to eat and bowling.
Elliott learned how to climb down stairs. He practiced this new skill over and over...
The girls enjoyed spa treatment at Grandma Lulu's
We went to a Festival of Trees Saturday with Lulu and Terah. Kat and I scoped out some ideas for our Gingerbread house.

November 22
Yesterday we went to church, out for lunch, came home and put up our Christmas tree, wrapped Christmas presents to take to IL for Thanksgiving, and then went back to church. I am tired!
At lunch, Julia taught Elliott the sign language for "more".

Yesterday morning the girls and I made these advent trees.
We delivered some toys the girls had collected from around the house to donate to children. I was very proud of how willing they were to part with their toys. It was harder for Clay to part with them than it was for the girls!
We found this beautiful park yesterday and enjoyed the 60+ degree weather. Is it Mid-November?
Funny Kat Story: Yesterday Kat got to go to her friend Samantha's birthday party. It was the first party where she was invited, but Julia was not. It meant alot to her. For several days she kept talking about how she got to go to the party, but Julia could not. Yesterday morning I told her not to be mean and rub it in to Julia that Julia couldn't go. So she said to Julia in a very motherly tone, "Julia, I am sad to tell you that you cannot go to Samantha's party. Only I get to go."
Elliott has a new dance move.
Someone's about to lose her first tooth!
