Papaw came over yesterday afternoon and put Clay to work on his day off. They framed the mirror in the bathroom. I love how it turned out! A little sanding and some touch-up paint (plus a few other finishing touches in the room) and it's done! Who'd have thought such a small room could be so much work!?!

The good news: I got everything done on my "To Do List" yesterday (minus 2 days of the Bible study). The bad news: I got a call from my doctor yesterday and failed my 1 hour glucose screening. So now I have to take a 3 hour glucose screening.

We had beautiful Fall weather last night and the girls didn't have homework, so the kids spent a long time riding bikes up and down the street.
Today is going to be a crazy busy day:
- Pastries with Parents at the girls' school
- Babysitting Matthew
- Story time at the library
- Pick up Matthew's big brother Jonathan from preschool and babysit both boys this afternoon
- Finish painting the wood pieces to frame the bathroom mirror
- Do my week's worth of Bible Study lessons (because my Mom's Bible Study group is tomorrow and I haven't done one day's worth this week - oops)
- Go to grocery store
- Make coffee cake for Mom's Bible Study
- make snack for Elliott's Honeybee class (AWANA)
- Take Stuart (Julia's classmate) with us to dinner & AWANA (help teach)
- Take Stuart home
- Get the kids off to bed
- CRASH!

We had a "Very Merry Un-birthday" (Alice in Wonderland) party for Kat's 5th Birthday yesterday. This was Kat's first party that she got to invite friends to and she was very excited. I had planned to have the party in the backyard, but we had rain... so we moved everything inside.

Thank you Mamaw Pat for making the girls' costumes! I didn't get a good pictures of them, but they are wearing them again for Halloween, so I will get some pictures of them in their costumes then.
We served Bread-N-Butterflies (bread and butter sandwiches shaped like butterflies), Queen's Jewels (white chocolate-covered round pretzels with a Gusher on top), Cheshire Cat Grins (apple slices with peanut butter and marshmallows), chips, heart-shaped finger jello, fruit Kabobs, and edible teacups with Dip 'N Dots ice cream. The kids decorated their own cupcakes.
And we finished the party off with a pinata

Happy 5th Birthday Kat!!!
Let the birthday weekend festivities begin! I am going to school to eat lunch with the birthday girl today. Tonight we are going to Red Lobster because Kat wants crab legs for her birthday dinner. Tomorrow she is having her first birthday party with friends. She is very excited and woke up in a very happy mood today (that is not usually the case)
Yesterday after my doctor appointment we met Jill and Mollie at the zoo.

My friend Tracy and I are having a child swap once a week. I keep Matthew on Wednesdays and she keeps Elliott for me on Fridays. It's worked out great so far. Matthew isn't too fond of coming to our house (he cries the entire time he is awake). However, yesterday I took the boys to the library for story time and then to McD's for lunch and it went much better.

This morning was Elliott's 2nd Wee Rock class. He still sits on my lap for most of the class, but he is starting to dance, clap, and participate more. Playing the drums seems to be his favorite part.
After Wee Rock, we went to Hobby Lobby and bought the material needed to make this wreath. They didn't have the orange or dark brown burlap, so mine doesn't look as Fallish, but I still like it.
