Here are some pictures of FCA camp i found on Facebook. I haven’t seen any pics of Lucy, but have found a few of Elliott. They come home this afternoon and go directly to Student Impact Week at church. They will be exhausted.

I dropped Elliott and Lucy off for FCA Leadership camp yesterday. It rained ALL.DAY.LONG so there was no group pic. They just loaded up five buses with kids and headed to WKU.

If you look closely, you will see Mason and Elliott. They look thrilled-ha!

We did a thing last night! No more minivan for me! She drives so smooth (especially compared to a car that has 265,000 miles on it)!

After CrossFit, Lucy and I stopped by Mamaw and Bapaw’s house for a visit. He is doing really well! He even walked the entire block- pretty good for a man who just had surgery on his spine 9 days ago!

I filled the glass case by the Kids Ministry desk with balloons. The kids will write on stars what freedoms they are thankful for and those stars will go on the front of the glass.

Clay and I were in our room when we heard a bunch of giggling in the Family Room. I love that the kids love hanging out. My mama heart is full.

When the dad wants to play frisbee golf on Father’s Day, that is what we do. Elliott was at work, so Kat, Lucy, and I played frisbee golf with Clay.
We helped get Bapaw settled in at home and then visited with Old Mamaw. When Elliott got done working, we headed to the RecBar to eat and play arcade games.

Happy Father’s Day!
Clay and Lucy went fishing yesterday. They didn’t catch much, except this big catfish.

We had Family Night last night and invited all the kids who attended VBS, plus their families, to come for free food, snow cones, and water slides/bouncies. We ended up with beautiful weather and a larger turnout than anticipated. We had to go to the store and buy more food! We cooked 580 hot dogs and they were all gone!
After family night was cleaned up, I stayed late and cleaned up the resource room… it was messy after VBS… (even though I had straightened it each night).
Now to finish prepping Father’s Day crafts for Sunday…

Last night was our fourth and final night of VBS. The boys and girls had an offering competition all week. Whichever team gives the most, the leader of the opposite sex gets slime dumped on them. Since we had a Wild West theme, we dumped baked beans on Jeff. Lucy and I were supposed to do the dumping, but when I climbed up on the scaffolding, my side wasn't locked in place, so I was told to get down. Lucy got to dump all the beans on Jeff. We raised $1300 for youth camps in SE Asia. It was a great (but tiring) week!

Bapaw Rick had back surgery Monday. He is in the hospital for a few days. Pray for him to heal quickly and for his back troubles to be gone!

Last night was water night at VBS. I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids!
Clay bought a table and chairs for our deck while we were at VBS. He was putting them together while watching He-Man (he and I recently saw the Masters of the Universe movie).

VBS night one is in the books! I worked from 8am yesterday until 10pm and got in 21,000 steps just in the church! I was sore last night. Lucy is helping with 2nd and 3rd grade rec this year.
