Here's what we did:
- Sticky notes in stalls and on mirrors in mall bathrooms. The notes said things like "You're beautiful!", "Merry Christmas!", "Happy Birthday Jesus!", etc.
- Handed out candy canes to kids
- Gifts to neighbors and mail carrier
- Delivered poinsettia and visited with an elderly woman from church.
- Load vending machines with coins
- Bought 2 $5 gift cards at Chick-Fil-A and gave them to people in line.
Elliott delivering a gift of plates, napkins, and cups to our neighbors that said "Our Christmas Wish for you is less dishes to do".
Julia putting a coke on the front porch that says "Your decorations really 'POP', Merry Christmas!"
Here's my kindness team getting ready to hand out candy canes and gospel tracks to families at the mall.
We filled the vending machines with quarters and left little notes that said "Merry Christmas", etc. Friends of ours who also came to the mall to spread their kindness saw someone take some candy from one of our loaded machines and then put their quarter in after so they could pay the kindness forward to someone else. That's pretty neat.
When we were done, Kat looked at me and said, "Giving is fun!". That was her Christmas present to me. I am trying really hard to teach the kids that Christmas is about giving to others.
After our Kindness Blitz, we headed to church for a Christmas party. The kids had sweets, played games, and did a couple of crafts. It was a fun day.
Ready to party!
