We celebrated the end of our school year by attending the big homeschool field day in town. There were appoximately 300 kids competing in 8 events. Julia got first in the crab walk, sprint, army crawl, and long jump, and second place in the potato sack race. Kat got first in the sprint, long distance run, crab walk, army crawl, and long jump, and she got third in the sack race and ball toss. Elliott got first in the army crawl, long distance run, and crab walk, and second place in the long jump and sprint. Lucy got first place in the long jump, second in the army crawl, and third in the sack race.

I was in charge of the kindergarten team, so I mostly got pictures of their events.

The girls beat the boys at tug-o-war!

Kat was awesome at the running races. I sure wish she'd try track or cross country again. My girl that doesn't want to play sports won the most blue ribbons!
Lots of ribbons! Kat was off with her new friends.
We went to the nearby creek, planning to splash in the water and cool off... until we saw two different snakes in the water. No way, Jose! Julia hijacked my phone....
