December 7

We have recently studied the respiratory system, including the larynx/vocal cords, in my anatomy class. I brought in helium balloons from Papaw's party yesterday and let the kids suck helium. As you can see from the picture, they loved it. Only Julia had ever done this before!

Lucy's preschool class got to make and decorate fort boxes.

Since it was our last week of co-op for the semester, we had pizza for lunch, some of the classes made presentations, and we decorated cookies.

I was so proud of Lucy for being up on the stage. She refused to do it last semester. Kat's music class performed a couple of songs, and Julia's sign language class signed a couple of Christmas songs.

Kat's history class had a Greek Olympics and food. Kat jumped 67 inches in the long jump from standing still. That girl needs to be in track! She won the olive branch (1st place).

As if co-op isn't tiring enough, Kat had basketball practice from 3:30-5, I had to drive home to get Hulk off the bus, go back to get Kat from practice, help Hulk with his homework, and then take the boys to their first basketball practice from 6-7pm. Poor Clay worked late and then had to do his vending route. Stick a fork in us!
