We woke the kids up this morning and told the kids we were going on an adventure. We took them on the train to Chicago for the day. It was alot of fun (a little hectic trying to get through the city with 4 small children). As we were walking through Union Station, a man started walking with our group. It was Uncle Stump! He joined us for the day.
The train is a great way to travel. We were pooped by the end of the day, so it was nice not having to drive home. We napped on the train! Elliott LOVED riding on the train.
We went straight to the Sears Tower (Willis what?) to show the kids the skyline. I think it was mostly because Clay wanted to walk on the new glass ledges. It was a little nerve-wracking to see my kids 103 floors up just sitting on glass! Don't even get me started on the elevators! Ugh!

Our next adventure was to take Julia (and Layla) to American Girl Place. Layla got her ears pierced and some glasses to match Julia's glasses. It was a really cool store.

We walked along Michigan Avenue until we got to Millenium Park to see Cloud Gate (aka "the Bean"). It's a structure/sculpture/piece of art designed so that you can see the skyline reflected in it. It was actually my favorite part of the day. We had pretty weather, so we hung out here for awhile and let the kids run loose.
