We got an email from Julia’s guidance counselor that she has been nominated for HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference). It is a nationwide youth leadership seminar that opens a lot of doors for scholarships and looks good on college applications. It is pretty awesome that her guidance counselor selected her considering she is one of 450 tenth graders at her school!
