I think everyone is looking forward to Christmas break. We are trying to finish strong!
I got all the gifts wrapped and under the tree yesterday. Each kid gets two presents from Clay and me. Unfortunately for them, I didn’t label their gifts. Each kid has a designated wrapping paper, but they won’t find out which paper is theirs until Christmas morning. Ha! I like to keep them on their toes.
Julia wasn’t feeling good yesterday morning and was running a low-grade fever most of the day. We decided to keep Julia, Kat, and Elliott home from the youth Christmas party to be safe. Thankfully Kat and Elliott handled the disappointment well... it’s 2020, after all. We are pros at having things canceled/taken away!
