Today was one of my favorite Christmas traditions. We completed our Random Acts of Kindness and then attended a Random Acts of Christmas Kindness party with other homeschool friends from church who also completed some acts of kindness in our community.
Mickey left the kids a note that he also wanted to come along on our acts of kindness day.
My kindness team is ready (notice Mickey)!
Our first stop was to put these bookmarks in books at the library.
Our next act of kindness was to pay for the woman's order behind us in line at Starbucks.
Then we headed to the grocery store, where we stocked up on canned goods and diapers. We then dropped them off at a local food bank.
Then we headed to the mall where we handed our candy canes to kids...
... and filled the candy machines with quarters...
... and handed out Chick-Fil-A gift cards to people in line.
We also bought gas for a woman. She was very appreciative and said that she would have to teach her two kids (who were with her) that giving is the best Christmas present.
And finally, we left $1 at a Redbox to pay for someone's movie.
Then we headed to the Christmas party.
