Lucy and Ava spent the day with Clara, celebrating her birthday.

Elliott spent a few hours celebrating Josiah’s birthday playing in the creek.

Kat was at work for 7 hours. She had forgotten to take the day off in case she was sick from the second covid vaccine. Thankfully she had zero side effects.

Julia did take the day off and quickly realized it would just be the three of us for a few hours. She asked if we could go to lunch. We enjoyed a Hibachi grill. Afterwards, Clay left to pick Elliott up from his party and take him to his cross country meet. Julia and I headed to the mall while we had a couple of hours to burn before picking Kat and Lucy up.

Thankfully Julia, Kat, and I all seemed to escape the second vaccine without any side effects.

Elliott finished his race in 15 minutes, averaging 8 minutes a mile. Thankfully he didn’t throw up this time! Kat is going to continue practicing with the team, but is not going to run in the meets. She is under a lot of stress with school and the meets were just too much added stress at this time.
