Happy 42nd Anniversary Mamaw and Bapaw!
Happy 8th Anniversary Joe and Nikole!

Lucy's Story of the World co-op class learned about Joseph and the Israelites this week - so they made coats of many colors. Wonder if they were Technicolor!?!

In Flying Creatures, we learned about life cycles, defenses, and social insects (mostly bees, wasps, and ants). The bottom right picture is the bee dance (flight pattern) a scout bee shows to the gatherer bees to let them know the distance of the flowers they need to find.

Kat's General Science class did an experiment on surface tension.

My anatomy class is studying the skeletal system. I had them make spinal columns out of pipe cleaners, beads, and straws to show the flexibility our vertebrae give us. They did this while their index fingers and thumbs were taped together to show them how important even their smallest bones are.

Julia had a volleyball game last night. They didn't win. She made a couple of mistakes, but she also had a couple of really good plays and she got a decent amount of playing time. She's one of the few that hustles for the ball.
