Last night we all went to the nearby school and played on the playground and then went out for ice cream. We quickly realized after we'd started eating that the weather was beautiful, but a little chilly to be sitting outside eating ice cream. Daddy gave the girls a bath when we got home. They were ready for bed at 7:30pm, so Mommy let them each pick out 5 books (normally they get 1 apiece) and we read until 8:15; Kat sat still the whole time! All in all it was a great evening and the girls were really fun and happy.

Kat got into the dirty clothes and started dressing herself; she was quite proud. Notice the smudge on her left shoulder? Here's the quick story behind that... while Mommy was busy, Kat grabbed the bananas off the counter and helped herself to 2 of them. Note to self: nothing on the counters are out of reach for Kat anymore.

For whatever reason, Kat didn't sleep good last night. She was up 4 or 5 times between 3 and 5am. After the 5th time, Daddy gave her some medicine (for allergies - her nose has been running) and we gave her another blanket thinking she might have been cold. Since the girls share a room, Julia was up every time Kat got up. They are both still asleep and hopefully sleep in late or we may have another day of Evil Kat.
