November 7

This is one happy Daddy curled up on the couch watching a movie last night with the rugrats. Wonder where #4 is going to fit?

November 6

Baby's room is ready (for the most part). I have used the same furniture arrangement for Kat and Elliott (Julia's nursery was in our other house), so that made getting the room ready pretty easy. I have a few last minute things to do, but those will have to wait.

November 5

This morning we rearranged the girls' room so we could put Elliott's bed in there. The plan is for them to share a room until the baby is sleeping through the night. Then Elliott and the baby will share a room. We went ahead and did this now because I wanted to be able to help (and soon I will be too big for that) and I wanted everything done before the holiday madness begins. The girls don't have school Monday or Tuesday, so hopefully we'll be able to get the kinks worked out over the next few nights so it won't interrupt their sleep on a school night (too much).

November 4

This "turkey" is a school project. Kat had to disguise him so he wouldn't be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner. She turned her turkey into a rabbit.

November 3

Story time at the library yesterday. The theme was the color orange, so the kids got to mix red and yellow paint. Elliott loves to paint.

After the library, we visited one of Elliott's favorite people - his baby cousin Abbie. He talks about her all the time. Does she have awesome hair or what!?! It stands straight up!

November 1

We had so much fun trick-or-treating last night. We had great weather (it got a little chilly after the sun went down) and family and friends with us. Everyone came over for pizza first and then we headed out for candy! Elliott caught on pretty quickly to what was going on and had a great time. By the end of the evening, Clay had to carry him from house to house because his pumpkin was too heavy and he couldn't keep up with the girls.

Trick-or-Treat

Our motley crew

We had a lot of kids in our neighborhood last night. That made it even more fun! Usually we don't hardly see any families trick-or-treating.

Run Elliott run!

October 31

Happy Halloween!

Busy day. Julia had a Fall Party at school. Clay took the day off work to attend Kat's field trip to a local farm. It was Kat's first field trip ever and she was super excited!

Soon we're going to eat pizza and go trick-or-treating.

Ghost pancakes

We made these "Spirit Jugs" last year too. This year the girls gave each "ghost" a name (and some of the girl ghosts got eyelashes).

After dinner we carved and painted pumpkins. The girls also painted my belly.
