We sang happy birthday to Lucy yesterday at co-op.

My U.S. History class (Elliott is fourth from right) recited the Preamble and the Gettysburg Address during our program.

We had pizza and cookies to celebrate our last week of the semester.

Fun in P.E.

It wasn’t all fun and games at our house. Julia stayed home from school with a fever and sore throat. As the day progressed, she was nauseous and developed a cough.

Elliott came home from co-op after lunch, complaining that his stomach hurt and he felt “lousy”. No fever though.

Mamaw Pat picked him up from co-op, brought him home, and then went to the store to get the sickies some food/drinks.

So thankful for our pediatrician’s office. They have been so swamped with flu and strep lately that they have started staying open late two days a week. Julia has strep. We were REALLY hoping it wasn’t the flu. Because there’s an antibiotic shortage right now (who knew!?!), the receptionist called a local family pharmacy to see if they had the antibiotic (Kroger and Walgreens have been out of it). We got home and she took it right before she went to bed at 8pm. Poor girl!
