January 8

Clay had today off work, so we went to the zoo.

Elliott’s physical therapist has started him on a throwing regimen because she is pleased with his mobility. He had baseball practice right after that and they brought in a former college catcher to work with him and the other catchers. He enjoyed that.

January 7

Happy 21st birthday, Julia! Happy Birthday, Joe!

Clay, Elliott, Lucy, and I went to the UK game. We sat in the third row. Unfortunately UK lost. It was weird to be in the same city as Julia and not be with her on her birthday. She was hanging out with her friends.

January 6

Lucy and I visited with Old Mamaw.

Kat needed a winter coat, so we made a shopping trip out of it.

January 5

I bought more bins for the Kids Ministry Resource Room. I also made labels for each bin and a spreadsheet of the supplies and their location.

I also worked with Meghan and Johnna to take down the 27 Christmas trees at church. That job 100% sucked. I am going to help Johnna organize and label the Christmas storage closet… but we’re going to wait a little while because neither of us wants to look at Christmas decorations for awhile.

January 4

Julia loves when we sing to her. Can you believe that she turns 21 this week!?! We celebrated tonight because she heads back to school tomorrow.

She wanted a seafood boil for her birthday dinner, so we went to Joe’s Crab Shack.

January 2

I drove to Nashville to see my friend Katrina. We went to check out the Christmas decorations at the Opry Hotel. Beautiful!

I stopped at Buccees on my way home for gas and brisket.

Guess the drink-it was all fruit juices. Lemon juice was easy to guess. They had trouble identifying tomato juice.

Racing to get the cups into the basket.

Shake the stickies

Eat like dogs

It was a fun night (These pictures are not in chronological order). Kat and Elliott both worked until 8 or 9, so they missed some of the games. I went to bed around 1:30am and they were all up watching the Stranger Things finale together.

New Year’s is prepped!

December 30

I spent six hours at church organizing the back room of the Resource Room. I have wanted to tackle this project for awhile.
