We went Trick-or-Treating at the zoo last night with Mamaw and Bapaw, which is one of our favorite Fall activities!

A 6 month supply of frozen rats for our snake. Yep. It's disgusting!!! And guess where they are going to be stored? In our freezer. Gag! That HAS to be against some sort of health code!

Jonathan and Mathew came over for a few hours yesterday after we were done with school.

 

Aunt Jessica and Abbie came over for a couple of hours too.

 

Then we headed to the library for Chess Club. After that we grabbed a quick dinner at McD's before heading to AWANA at church.

October 3

 Yesterday Lucy fed herself at lunch (raisins, cheese, and a cereal bar). I thought to myself, "This is awesome! Now I can get some other things done during her mealtimes!" Well, it might not have been worth it because I ended up spending an additional 10 minutes cleaning up her mess and then she had to have a bath.

Julia wanted to make everyone lunch... umm, yes PLEASE!

October 2

Yesterday was the girls' third and final horseback riding lesson. We took a bag of carrots to feed the horses after the lessons were done.

They know a treat is coming. Can you tell?

We had a Willy Wonka party last night as a reward for reading the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
